You have:
- an active license as a certified public accountant (CPA) or enrolled agent (EA)
- at least 3+ years of experience in tax preparation at a senior or associate level, especially at a CPA firm
- advanced knowledge of the tax code for individuals and small businesses
experience communicating with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and a history of successful tax resolution - expertise in accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- fluency in bookkeeping and accounting software
- the general computing skills necessary to succeed in a modern, technologically-driven workplace.
You can:

- produce financial statements and review team members’ statements

Tax Advisor
Position Description
This individual will assist the Senior Tax Advisor and Tax Manager in streamlining and optimizing our tax service delivery processes and team. They will assist with document management, completing tax return handoffs, fielding Discovery Calls, and tax preparation.
How you’ll contribute:
- Be able to review and prepare business and personal tax returns for small business clients from initial meeting through delivery and filing of returns
- Communicate with clients
- Organize and update the tax database
- Record tax entries into accounting software
- Understand and apply tax reduction strategies via a comprehensive tax plan
- Able to conduct tax consultations
- Estimate quarterly taxes for businesses and individuals
- Preparation and/or review of financial statements
- Be available to work on other special projects
What you’ll bring:
- 1 year of tax preparation experience is a must
- Experience with ATX software is a plus
- Bachelors or higher in Accounting or Accounting related field
- Proven work experience as a Tax Associate
- Knowledge of the tax code for individuals and small business
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- QuickBooks accounting software experience
- Computer literacy, numerical skills and attention to detail

We are looking for someone who has proven experience in a busy tax office, has been responsible for the tax return process for both business and individual from beginning to end, has gotten real results and is willing to work with us to perfect our tax preparation and tax planning process.
Accounting Associate
Position Description
This team member will work with our accounting manager to complete monthly accounting for our clients. They would work independently and directly with clients in providing proactive accounting services. Services would include: income/expense data entry, data analysis and communicating effectively with our valued clients on a regular basis.
How you’ll contribute:
- Perform bookkeeping services for multiple complex clients or clients in transition. This includes both for profit and not for profit entities.
- Prepare and file sales tax returns
- Assist with month-end close process
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
- Monitor asset acquisitions and dispositions
- Assist with audits as needed
- Assist with year-end close process
- Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
- Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management
- Reconcile/maintain/input data from various bank accounts and credit cards.
- Able to do general ledger entries
- Post transfers from various accounts
- Support on-boarding of new clients
- Regular communication with clients
- Other duties as assigned
What you’ll bring:
- CPA firm experience is desired
- 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
- 1-2 years working as a Bookkeeper, preferred
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Certified required
- Proficient in advanced Excel/GSuite
- Ability to interact with clients
- Some college in accounting or related field
Accounting Manager
Position Description

Advanced accounting knowledge, technological literacy, and experience working with both for-profits and nonprofits are a necessity. True success comes from a successful team.
Experience working with a team in a modern office is required. Must be willing to invest time and energy into building the best team, creating the best talent, developing the best accounting processes, and providing the best service to our clients.
How you’ll contribute:
- Build and manage a team of bookkeepers.
- Provide technical and social support to the team while developing each staff member to their full potential and efficiency.
- Professional development of bookkeepers including providing in-service training on technical advances in non-profit accounting.
- Regularly evaluate each employee and provide feedback to the company CEO.
- Analyze and manage client profitability. Report feedback to the company CEO.
- Research and continuing education in all areas of accounting and technology used internally and by clients.
- Perform bookkeeping services as needed for multiple complex clients or clients in transition.
- Support on-boarding of new clients to ensure adequate support to the primary bookkeeper.
- Onboard new employees and ensure their successful transition to the company.
- Interview candidates for new positions.
- Assist with financial compilation.
- Co-lead staff meetings and training.
- Support other areas of the company such as Sales, HR, and Administrative as needed to continue to develop company infrastructure.
What you’ll bring:
- CPA firm experience is required
- Bachelors or Higher in Accounting or Accounting related field
- CPA license or CPA candidate preferred
- 5+ years of non-profit accounting experience
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in advanced Excel/GSuite
- Ability to interact with clients
- QuickBooks Certified along with experience in other cloud accounting apps, preferred
